My approach to artistry and expression

When I sing for a wedding, I want the bridal couple and their guests to feel that the music compliments the special moments of the ceremony, whether it may be sheer delight, or moving poignancy. I want everyone to be completely taken in by communicating the feelings and intentions of the bride and groom.

Ensemble

The Brazos Valley is fortunate to have so many brilliant collaborators to work with, including organists, pianists, and instrumentalists.  We always perform these pieces as a duet and ensemble, and never merely as a soloist with accompaniment. We study the composer’s intent and historical performances to inform our interpretation of the piece.
